Whyte Bikes has renewed its partnership with Solis, a premium distributor of bike, snow, outdoors and technology brands into the New Zealand market.
This sees Solis presenting Whyte’s latest, highly-acclaimed range, including the Elyte collection, the award-winning full-power, E-160 RSX, and the E-180 range – all of which use full Bosch e-bike systems.
“Working with Ross and the team at Whyte has set the standard that we’ve come to expect from other brands,” said Roger Campbell, Solis’ action sports leader.
“The British charm wins us over every time but what really shines through is the professionalism and an unwavering commitment to improving every season. It doesn’t hurt that the product is top shelf too.”
The partnership sees Solis being the first international partner to make Whyte’s latest award-winning e-mountain bike collections available to its customers.
It is also the first of more international distributor announcements to be made by the British brand.

The renewal cements a long-standing and fruitful relationship aided by Whyte’s Ross Patterson and a renewed focus in his new role as international sales director to cultivate, support and strengthen international relationships as the brand looks to further develop its distribution around the world.
Patterson added: “We’ve worked hard to get new and exciting products to market which are cutting through the post-Covid noise and giving our international partners and riders something different to get excited about.
“We’re now actively recruiting distributors who have room in their business for an innovative, high performing eBike brand, offering premium quality e-MTB and urban bikes.”
Whyte products will begin arriving into New Zealand from August/September 2024.
