Canyon has announced the launch of its first CLLCTV streetwear collection, with two initial drops known as the Core collection and Concrete College collection.
Made to be “worn anywhere”, Canyon CLLCTV Streetwear clothing is designed to be rideable, hard wearing and versatile.
Launching today, these two collections feature pants, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and more.
Unlike most streetwear lines, it’s the functionality that Canyon hopes will make these collections stand out.
This is largely thanks to advanced fibres like Muru and T400 that improve durability and reliability.
Each rideable design was conceived by Koblenz-based designer TOME with comfort and fit at the forefront to make each piece adaptable to a range of on and off-the-bike situations.
“I was inspired by the subcultures of the past when creating the CLLCTV streetwear and wanted to combine future trends and functionality with quality materials,” they explain.
“CLLCTV is a 90s soul with a futuristic heartbeat that connects people with an instantly recognisable street uniform.”
Canyon’s CLLCTV off-shoot has been known as the brand’s racing team name, but now the brand is expanding the CLLCTV direction with a vision to become “the ultimate streetwear brand” for young riders.
The Core collection is made up of 15 pieces including t-shirts, jackets, fleeces, hoodies, long-sleeves, pants, hats and socks.
Alongside the launch of Core is a limited-edition Concrete College collection.
These pieces are designed to fuse the aesthetics of 90s street fashion with modern sustainability.
Made in Europe, this collection redefines street uniforms with a focus on using materials like organic cotton.
One of the highlights of this capsule is the Crash Pant which is constructed from a T400 fabric that is designed to stand up to daily wear and rides.
Other products include: a water-resistant coach jacket, 500-gram diagonal fleece hoodies, with a loose fit with a low shoulder drop, a loose-fit t-shirt made from 100% organic cotton, and accessories such as five-panel caps and dad caps.
Both collections are available now, exclusively at canyon.com or via the Canyon app.
